Since the mid 1990s here in the Yass Valley I have had the privilege of being trained by and working for some of Yass’s most experienced and established Builders. 

This solid base of being taught by tradesmen who were uncompromising in execution and finish has always served me well especially when spreading my carpentry work horizons to different locations around New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory intermittently. 

In addition to this experience I also undertook trade work in London, England and Calgary, Canada while traveling/ backpacking in the early 2000s.

Working in these locations also added valuable experience to my portfolio where I was required to adapt to very different and sometimes challenging building processes and required outcomes which I draw on still today.

At Gloverbuilt Projects we always offer prospective clients an obligation free “meet and greet” gathering to establish a relationship based on developing an understanding of requirements. These meetings are a great tool used for creating “clear air” and are often the start of the journey between clients and Gloverbuilt Projects whether it is a bathroom renovation or a complex architectural of historic project.

At Gloverbuilt Projects we maintain relationships with all of the professionals required to take a project from imagination to completion day. It can be a daunting proposition for same and unfortunately can be a complete deterrent to starting the journey towards a build. We acknowledge this and do our best to provide clients with all the necessary advice and guidance from Concept to DA submission, Specification, site assessment and Certification.

Your plans or ours!

Unlike many of the large home building companies we are very willing to be flexible and adaptable to your needs and wants when it comes to your dream project. We are happy to work with a plan you already have or if you are not up to that stage and need design guidance we can refer you to one of the two Architectural firms we partner with and have long standing relationships with. At Gloverbuilt Projects we don’t carry our own proprietary plans as we believe that in many cases our Architects can deliver a better product which has been customized to a specific site/block and or a clients needs that cannot be met by a basic plan found anywhere online or otherwise.

In many cases the relationship between the Builder and his or her trades is the centre piece of any building operation and its success. At Gloverbuilt Projects we pride ourselves on maintaining these relationships with our tradespeople and operators as they determine the quality and longevity of the end result. These relationships have been formed over a long time where everyone has demonstrated their skills, passion, attention to detail, honesty and integrity and these are simply the reasons why we have been in business for so long.

While we don’t manage Development Applications submissions or undertake Building Certifications we can easily guide clients and provide connections to the best people who can.
